Yesterday (June 12) a memorial bench on Douglas Head was vandalised.
Sometime between 8am and 7pm yesterday, the memorial bench was damaged, and additionally, the dedication plaque was prized off.
The Isle of Man Constabulary has conducted a search of the area in case the plaque was discarded or thrown away but has not located it.
If anyone does find it, please contact the police force immediately and limit any contact with it if possible. There may be forensic opportunities that could lead to a suspect.
