The Manx Motor Cycle Club has expressed its profound sadness following the death of County Durham racer Aran Sadler.
The 30-year-old died following an incident during the Supersport A Race at the Bob Smith Spring Cup at Oliver’s Mount in Scarborough on Saturday .
Sadler, a multiple champion at the Yorkshire circuit, was set to be a newcomer at this year’s Manx Grand Prix, having attended the Newcomers’ Weekend in February.
He has also competed at the Southern 100 races in 2024 and 2025.
In a statement, the Club said: “We had the pleasure of spending time with him at the first MGP Newcomers’ Weekend in February. He made a lasting impression on all who met him.”
Organisers at Oliver’s Mount described him as a “tremendously popular member of our paddock community” and a “champion several times over”.
They added: “He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.”
