Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper has submitted a written question to the Treasury Minister seeking detailed information on public payments.
Hooper’s questions focus on how many MiCards are currently in use, the number of people still receiving benefits or pensions via cheque, and how many benefit or pension cheques sent out in January remain uncashed.
The Treasury is expected to respond by February 23, providing insight into the state of payment methods and uptake across the Isle of Man.
