The Infrastructure Minister has been asked how many objections were lodged against the West Quay Flood Defence and Highway Refurbishment Scheme in Ramsey.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper submitted a written question seeking full disclosure on the volume and nature of public feedback received during the consultation process.
His question follows an earlier response which confirmed that comments had been received, but did not detail how many, what they contained, or where they originated.
Hooper has now asked the Minister to provide:
- The total number of comments and objections;
- The content of those submissions;
- Who they were from;
- How and where they were collected;
- And where, if anywhere, they have been published.
The West Quay scheme, a major flood defence and road refurbishment project, has drawn significant local interest, with residents and businesses raising concerns about access, design, and the long‑term impact on the harbour area.
Mr Crookall is due to provide his written response on March 31.
