Hospice Isle of Man have recently hosted Members of the House of Keys at it’s premises to discuss the future of Hospice.
Among those who visited were the Chief Minister, Alfred Cannan, the Minister for Health and Social Care, Claire Christian, as well as various MHKs and MLCs.
These visits provided an opportunity for political members to gain insight into the ongoing work and dedication of Hospice Isle of Man.
Future of Hospice
Over a series of five meetings, political colleagues gained a tour of Hospice, which was followed by a presentation and in-depth discussions based around Hospice’s ‘2024 Impact Report’.
The security of future funding was inevitably a key matter which links closely to both the long-term sustainability of the island’s facility and the depth and scope of services being provided both within Hospice itself and out in wider community settings.
