The island’s premier cyber security conference returns in this month and will have Lesley Kipling, Chief Security Advisor at Microsoft as a speaker.
Cyberisle will be in its sixth year, providing guidance on how to prepare for, respond to and recover from any potential cyber incidents for individuals and organisations alike.

On the day there will be 20 panels and presentations including ‘Winter Is Coming: An Update on the Midnight Blizzard Attack’, ‘The Human Firewall – Locking Your Digital Door’, and ‘Third-Party (Supplier) Risk: When Tick Boxes Aren’t Enough’.
As well as Lesley, speakers include representative from the UK National Cyber Security Centre, David Cartwright (Chief Information Security Officer CISO and Head of IT Risk and Operations at Santander International), and Tim Rawlins (Senior Adviser and Director of Security at the NCC Group).
Cyberisle is organised by the Cyber Security Centre (CSC) for the Isle of Man, a part of OCSIA, and the Department of Home Affairs.
The event is being held at the Comis Hotel and Golf Resort on October 10, the event is free to attend and tickets are available here.
