A drone that went missing in the Earystane area last week was not doing works or connected in anyway to the proposed windfarms.
Auldyn Construction confirmed that the drone in question was being used for surveying works on the Earystane quarry.
A spokesperson told Manx.News that “the quarry isn+IBk-t used much anymore but we are still required to confirm stocks and reserves for audit accounting purposes.
“That is what the drone was doing at the time it went missing.”
