It doesn’t look like we will get snow this weekend, just the normal: rain, bit of sun, cloud and wind.
Shock horror, snow was fairly non-existent for us lowlanders, if you were on the hills, congrats, you got snow – the rest of us just got more *insert a word of your choice* rain.

On the upside, currently there are no weather warnings forecast; every time I type that laughing knowing I’ll jinx it
Weekend weather
The Met Office says it will be a fairly cloudy start to today (February 10), but turning drier as sunny intervals develop, with just a ‘small risk’ of an odd shower.
Light to moderate southeast winds with temperatures up to 9°C.
Rain arrives overnight into Sunday, February 11 (more waterlogged fields to wade through and question every life decision), clearing in the afternoon with ‘some’ sunshine breaking through.
Light southeast winds will quickly veer westerly and freshen a little, with temperatures up to 9°C.
The Met Office comments for Sunday are ‘nil’, mine are ‘another day wishing I’d been born in Mauritius’.
Next week
Going to start off next week with wind and rain; a W or NW 20-25mph overnight into Monday (February 12).
During the day it’ll be largely cloudy with the risk of a few outbreaks of rain.
Strong winds later on in the day.
Brighter Tuesday
Ok ok, Tuesday has all the potential to bring me out of my misery pit as its allegedly going to be ‘mostly dry with some sunshine’.
A high of 8°C and lows of 4°C. The wind will still be there, to be expected, but will back off to a SE 10-15mph later on.
Are we on the TT countdown yet? Because I just want to be in Bushy’s causing havoc with a big bevargino in hand and the sun beaming down creating the much loved Manx sunburn.
