More clarity needed over doorbell cameras

More clarity is needed around the use of home doorbell cameras according to the Chief Minister.

Manx residents have to pay fees to register the technology under data protection laws.

Recently, the Information Commissioner warned those who flout the rules could face fines of up to £10,000.

The issue was raised by members in yesterday’s House of Keys sitting.

Alfred Cannan confirmed the Government was planning to review the regulations:
