The island is set for further disruption this summer as filming for a TT‑inspired feature film returns in August.
Temporary road closures on sections of the Mountain Course begin on Saturday, August 8, the same day 20,000 people are expected to travel to Knockaloe for the Royal Manx Agricultural Show.
The production, titled Isle of Man, carried out initial filming during TT 2026. Crews will now return for an extended period to capture key scenes on the Course and at locations across the island.
More Closures
Government has confirmed that temporary closures will be required on specific sections of the TT Mountain Course between August 8 to15.
While the full Course will not be closed at any one time, the timing overlaps with one of the busiest weekends of the year for local businesses, farmers, traders and residents, and comes just days before the Manx Grand Prix begins its own road‑closure schedule.
Households and businesses directly affected will receive letters outlining access arrangements. Full details of the closures will be published on gov.im once finalised.
