Isle of Man Netball has announced a new strategic partnership with ESG specialists Ivy Mason.
The agreement, which runs until August 2027, will see Ivy Mason support the governing body in developing a formal sustainability policy, carrying out a full Scope 1–3 carbon emissions assessment and producing a long‑term ESG strategy.
The programme also includes workshops, advisory support and regular progress reporting.
Net Zero
The move positions Isle of Man Netball as one of the first sporting bodies on the island to adopt a structured ESG approach, aligning with World Netball’s ambition to reach Net Zero by 2040.
Chairman Chris Watterson said the organisation had a responsibility to lead by example. “Sustainability is fundamental to our strategic direction and to securing an ethical foundation for the next generation of netballers,” he said.
“This partnership will help us embed responsible practices across our organisation and ensure we continue to grow in a way that is both impactful and sustainable.”
Ivy Mason co‑founder Naomi Atkins said sport and sustainability were “perfect partners”, adding that the collaboration aimed to establish Isle of Man Netball as a local leader in the field.
The partnership is expected to create new opportunities for engagement with sponsors and stakeholders who share a commitment to environmental and social responsibility, setting a new benchmark for sustainable sport on the island.
