Daniel Norris has been announced as the next Rector of the Parish of Ramsey and the North East.
Reverend Norris, currently Associate Priest at St James’s Church, Piccadilly, will take up the post in 2026. The appointment marks a return to the Isle of Man for the Reverend, who was educated on the island.
He said: “I am delighted to have accepted the Bishop of Sodor and Man’s invitation to serve as Rector of Ramsey and the North East.
“Having been educated on the Isle of Man and later at Durham and Cambridge Universities, this feels very much like a homecoming for me.”
Reverend Norris added: “I am really looking forward to returning to the island and getting to know everyone across the parishes and local communities.”
