Nice Up North!

Manx Care is bringing a wellbeing event to the north of the island next month.

Named ‘Nice Up North’ the event take place in Ramsey on September 4.

Taking place between 3pm and 8pm, it will be spread across St Paul’s Church Hall and Ramsey Courthouse.

Nice Up North! has been curated so that people are able to come along and have an informal chat and can discover what is available to help to improve their own or someone else’s wellbeing.

Wellbeing Event

From therapeutic services, to volunteering opportunities, to community projects – there’s a wealth of activities with which to engage.

A number of local Health and Social Care Services, charities, businesses, community groups, clubs and associations will be in attendance.

Georgia Zapparoli, Manx Care Frailty Team Coordinator, said: “This is an afternoon/evening event to celebrate all the available services, community groups, charities and local businesses in the North.

“We are looking to promote all the possible avenues where people may find help or support with whatever they have going on.

“We are hoping that the result will be that earlier interventions are possible before people reach the crisis point of life’s challenges.”

If you are a local service and would like to get involved, please contact Claire Galbraith on 651540 or claire.galbraith2@gov.im
