No Contracts Between Manx Care & Private Hospital

The businesses behind the proposed private hospital has clarified that that no contractual discussions have taken place with Manx Care.

Manx-based Kingsley Land and Property Ltd, together with their preferred operator, Alevia Health Group Ltd confirmed the news to Manx.News.

Both projects are privately funded, and any future contractual agreements will be subject to the appropriate approvals, terms, and conditions as agreed between the relevant statutory bodies.

Private Hospital

Kingsley Land and Property Ltd said: “The intention is to provide the Manx public with greater choice and flexibility in their healthcare options, as well as access to services and treatments not currently available on-island.

It believes that the facility “has the potential to reduce reliance on government funding and ease pressure on public budgets”.

Adding: “Competition among private providers drives service improvements, which will raise overall Isle of Man healthcare standards.

“This initiative seeks to align with the Manx Government’s health objectives by complementing existing services through responsible private sector participation.

“It aims to work collaboratively with existing providers, offering additional capacity, choice, and innovation to better serve the Manx public.”
