The Chief Minister says his government has not nor has any plans to buy chalets owned by Shoprite.
Alf Cannan was asked about the chalets by Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh.
Located behind the Victoria Road Tesco store (RIP Shoprite), Mr Wannenburgh wanted to know if the government had bought them, how much for and what they were to be used for.
However, Mr Cannan said: “The Isle of Man Government have not acquired the chalets in Little Switzerland formerly belonging to the Shoprite Group, nor are there any current plans for acquisition of the chalets by the government.”
