Ramsey Town Commissioners have decided to cancelled this years Ramsey Rocks event.
The event was scheduled to be held this evening (August 25), but due to the weather forecast, a decision to cancel has been made.
The local authority says that the weather forecast of high winds and heavy rain has led to “operational safety concerns”.
No Ramsey Rocking
The fun fair was also withdrawn due to the reasons above.
Ramsey Town Commissioners added: “It’s entirely understandable that our ride providers and other vendors cannot attend due to the wind and rain predicted being beyond safe limits.”
The commissioners “look forward to 2025 to get Ramsey rocking once again”.
