Police are carrying out speed checks on the Mountain Road where works are taking place.
A temporary 40mph speed limit is in force between Creg Ny Baa and Hillberry while road surface repairs take place.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit have received reports that the speed limit isn’t being obeyed, and the safety of the workers is being jeopardised.
Police attended the location and performed speed enforcement, and will continue to do so during the week whilst temporary speed limits are in place.
