A woman from Ramsey who was believed to be the oldest resident on the island has passed away.
Evelyn Teare celebrated her 108th birthday at Grove Mount Residential Home on October 19, before peacefully passing away on November 16.
Mrs Teare was a nurse at University College and Great Ormond Street Hospitals during World War Two and then moved to the Isle of Man with her husband, Douglas Teare, in 1976.
