A website has launched that is dedicated to making the first year of motherhood more manageable and enjoyable for mums on the Isle of Man.
Isle of Mama is designed to be your one-stop shop, offering a wealth of information tailored to the needs of new mothers.
To help with the ‘overwhelming journey’ of pregnancy and parenthood, the site includes a pregnancy and newborn glossary to explain some of the key terms people will come across.
Mums the Word
Vanessa Egisto, Founder of Isle of Mama said: “Having recently become a first time mum on the Island, I found it difficult at times to find information on all the services available to me as both an expectant and new mother.
“To solve this problem we created Isle of Mama to be a reliable and supportive resource for new mums on the Isle of Man.
“We hope our website will continue to grow and become an essential tool for mothers as they navigate the joys and challenges of their first year with their little ones.”
While Vanessa and Bianca have strived to be as thorough as possible, they acknowledge that there may be occasional gaps.
The pair will be continually updating and improving the site to better serve users.
