An election will be held in Douglas City Council’s South Ward on Thursday, April 24.
Two of the Council wards have been filled unopposed and one will require a by-election after only two people came forward.
In North and East Douglas, three candidates came forward for each ward and will be elected unopposed, beginning a four-year term of office from May 1.
In Central Ward, two candidates came forward therefore a By-Election will be required to fill the vacancy.
South Douglas will be contested by: Steven Crelling, David Cretney, Karel Ver Elst and William Smedley.
Elected in North Douglas: Falk Horning, Janet Thommeny and Peter Washington; East Douglas: Devon Watson, Fenella Logan, Susan Kevin; Central Douglas: Natalie Byron and Mark Wheeler (by-election required).
