Laxey Flour Mill has paid tribute to Colin Morphet as he retired after more than two decades of service.
Originally joining in 2004, Colin celebrated his retirement with colleagues last week.
Originally from Wigan Colin received a Latics hat amongst his presents from his colleagues as part of his retirement do.
The Mill said: “Jason our mill Manager, Frank and Colin have worked together even before they worked at the Mill. They first started working together as bakers in Safeways and then Tesco before swapping bread for flour, moving to the Mill and they have never looked back since!
“We are a very small, tight knit team at the Mill and we will sincerely miss Colin. Not only does he have a wealth of knowledge of the flour milling process, our 165 year old site and its history, but he has always been so helpful, kind and never afraid to get stuck in.”
