Around 300 riders on classic and modern scooters are expected on the island this weekend for the 2026 Isle of Man Scooter Rally.
A mass ride‑out will leave the TT Grandstand at 12pm on Saturday, with motorists in the Douglas and Onchan area advised to allow an extra ten minutes for their journeys due to likely congestion as the group sets off north.
The route takes riders from the Grandstand through Onchan, down Summerhill via Blackberry Lane, then on to Ramsey along Groudle and the coast road.
Some bottlenecks are expected before the group spreads out along the coast. Riders will return to Douglas via the Mountain Road, finishing at the DHSOB pitch on Blackberry Lane.
With fair weather forecast, organisers say the event should make for a colourful spectacle, complete with the familiar nostalgic two‑stroke aroma.
Islanders are being asked to be considerate and give visiting riders a warm Manx welcome.
