A yellow weather warning is in place overnight for ice and frost across the island.
Ground temperatures are expected to fall below zero overnight leading to a risk of frost and ice patches on untreated surfaces.
Higher ground above 800ft and low-lying sheltered valleys are said to be the most at risk, especially in areas that remain damp/wet from rainfall expected this evening.
The warning is in place from 1am to 10:30am.
