The Ben-my-Chree will leave Heysham at 1:15am tonight to carry extra freight and dangerous goods.
This will allow Manxman to focus on passengers after two days of disruption.
The company’s flagship will leave the island at about 9pm tonight, arriving in Heysham at about 2am.
She will then leave at 3:30am, with passengers asked to check-in no later than 2:45am.
The company said: “Please note, the morning sailing of Manxman on September 12 will now depart Douglas at 9am. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation as we adjust to accommodate all our passengers and essential freight safely.
“No action is needed for passengers booked on these sailings. The reservations team will make any necessary changes to travel information and confirm via email or phone where appropriate.”
