The Board of Castletown Commissioners has agreed to defer the planned community drop in session regarding the Poulsom Park Masterplan.
This follows feedback from candidates in the upcoming election.
The session, originally scheduled for election day, will now be held at a later date to ensure the focus remains fully on the election process.
Plans for the park include a new children’s play area, nature trails and wildflower meadows to enhance biodiversity, upgraded pathways linking the park to the town centre and Millennium Way and new exercise and leisure facilities, including outdoor fitness spaces and BMX trails.
The authority said: “We thank all members of the community for their interest and engagement in the future of Poulsom Park, and we look forward to sharing the updated plans and gathering your valuable feedback once the new Board has taken office.”
