Fire crews responded to reports of people trapped in a building fire last night.
Crews from Castletown, Rushen and Douglas were sent to Castletown Square.
Upon arrival, the Incident Commander quickly ensured that the final occupant was out of building before handing them over to our colleagues in the Ambulance Service for medical attention.
Crews wearing Breathing Apparatus then proceeded to enter the building to extinguish the fire using a high pressure hose reel.
They were on the scene for around two hours.
