One person was transferred to a specialist hospital in the UK following a road traffic collision on the Mountain Road.
On Friday (May 16), the Great North Air Ambulance Service’s critical care team responded to the collision just before 2pm.
The service had two paramedics and a doctor on board it’s aircraft, and worked alongside the Isle of Man Ambulance Service to assess and treat a patient.
Teams provided advanced care on scene before airlifting the patient to a specialist hospital in the UK for further treatment.
No other information has been given at this time.
