The planning committee has approved two high profile applications in Douglas.
Support was given to plans to convert an office block into a hotel, with KFC’s bid for 24/7 drive-thru also being approved.
Approval for Hesketh Ltd’s plans for Royalty House, on Walpole Avenue, Douglas received unanimous backing.
The committee also backed the proposal for KFC’s drive-thru, which includes a condition that it must close its inshore diner between midnight and 10:30am.
