Peel Golf Club has submitted plans for a course extension that would create a new 9th hole and redesign two others.
The application involves fields 311889 and 311915 at Ballaterson, about 4.1 hectares of former agricultural grassland.
Ken Moodie MEIGCA of Creative Golf Design has drawn up the new layout. The club says the project aims to “improve the flow of the golf course” and “remove a bottleneck at the 6th hole”.
Four pine trees and a section of hedge would be removed to make way for the extended 8th hole.
