Jurby Airfield operated as a RAF airbase during the Second World War, which was when the control tower was built.

The application has been put in by the Department of Infrastructure.

The DoI wishes to undertake external refurbishment of the roof and balustrade of the control tower.

Due to it being a registered building, special consent is needed for the planning application.
