Police are investigating two break‑ins in Port Erin after reports of a burglary in Shirragh Way at 4am and an attempted break‑in in Ballamaddrell shortly afterwards.
Residents may have been disturbed around these times, and officers from the Isle of Man Constabulary’s Criminal Investigation Department are pursuing several lines of enquiry.
Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact Douglas Police Headquarters on (01624) 631212.
Police are also reminding householders to keep doors and windows locked overnight and ensure security measures such as sensor lights, CCTV and Ring Doorbells are working properly.
