Police on the Island have issued a reminder not to ride or use e-scooters on roads or in a public place.
It follows a recent serious injury road traffic collision involving the rider of an electric scooter.
The force said without legislation in place to ensure the electric scooters are used correctly, with the correct safety features, by those aged appropriately, the risk of serious injury posed to the public and riders is extremely high.
