Pickup and his multiple crimes

He admitted taking a vehicle without consent, being found drunk in public, threatening behaviour, disorderly behaviour on licensed premises, provoking behaviour, and damaging property.

His last offence was to smear faeces on the windows of the café in Ramsey on November 20.

Pickup then left the Island breaching the terms of an existing probation order.

On his release Pickup will also be the subject of a licensing ban for 12 months.

The Court Café

The business took to social media on November 21 saying that “unfortunately and coincidentally, following a post regarding a dog owner not picking up after their dog outside the cafe, last night the cafe windows were smeared with dog mess”.

The business did add that it doesn’t think its linked to the dog owners on the picture that was circulating.

However, it added that there were some “unfair and incorrect” comments left on the post by other people.
