There is no publication date for a revised Port St Mary parking permit scheme, with the DoI confirming that the existing rules in Disc Zone M will remain in place for now.
In a written Tynwald answer, Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall MHK said that although initial proposals for updated restrictions had been developed with Port St Mary Commissioners, the work, in agreement with the local authority has been paused.
The Department has placed the proposals on hold while it prepares for a broader island‑wide consultation on disc zone policy and how the system operates across the Isle of Man. That consultation is expected to take place this summer.
Until then, the current parking arrangements in Port St Mary remain unchanged.
