(Weather willing) the 2025 road racing season begins today on the island with the Billown Circuit coming alive this evening.
Roads int the south are due to close this evening for the Pre-TT Classic bringing both high quality action and road closures.
Racing
Roads around the course are due to close from 6pm, with the newcomers familiarisation getting underway shortly after.
Race 1 Singles runs from 6:26 PM to 6:38 PM, Race 2 (1100cc Classic) from 6:48 PM to 7:00 PM, Race 3 (Junior Superbikes & 400cc Post Classic) from 7:18 PM to 7:30 PM, Race 5 (Senior Classic) from 7:40 PM to 7:52 PM, Race 6 (Lightweight Classic + 125cc Post Classic) from 8:02 PM to 8:14 PM, Race 7 (Junior Classic) from 8:24 PM to 8:36 PM, Race 8 (Senior Superbikes) from 8:46 PM to 8:58 PM, and Race 4 & 9 (Sidecar Classic) from 9:05 PM to 9:20 PM.
The roads open at the latest by 9:40
Buses
During road closures of the Billown Circuit buses are only able to operate between Douglas and Castletown Square & Farrants Way (turning at Castle Rushen High School).
There is no service between Castletown and Port Erin/Port St. Mary, Colby and Ballabeg during closures.
The last through bus from Douglas, Lord Street Stand C to Port Erin via Castletown is the 1705 Service 12a
The last through bus from Port Erin to Douglas via Castletown is the 1730 Service 11a.
First through bus from Douglas, Lord Street C to Port Erin via Castletown is the 2110 Service 12
First through bus from Port Erin to Douglas via Castletown is the 2141 Service 11.
