British pathfinder Yasmin Ingham and Rehy DJ sadly suffered a rider fall during the cross-country phase of the Agria FEI European Eventing Championships.

Ingham & Rehy DJ were jumping well through the course, showing precision and confidence over the early technical combinations.

The fall occurred at fence 22, known as the FEI Mounds—a challenging oxer-to-corner combination set on mounds with a left-handed turn.

Both horse and rider were unharmed in the incident and walked back to the stables.

The fence was problematic as fellow GB (Individual) rider Caroline Harris also suffered a rider fall at the same location.

British Team Eliminated After Second Cross-Country Fall

Second team rider, Piggy March riding Halo have also suffered a rider fall at fence 20, a corner in the water resulting in Team GB now being eliminated.

Halo seemed to mis-judge the fence and took off a stride early results in Piggy landing in the water.

At the time of writing 18 riders have started the course, with only 9 of those completing without any jumping penalties.

The optimum time of 10 minutes and 01 second is also proving hard to catch, with the quickest round so far picking up 8 time penalties for being 20 seconds over the time.
