Racer Illiam Quayle has announced a split from Manx Legend Racing after a successful 2025.
The Manx rider confirmed the news in a social media post, reflecting on a season competing in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship at the British Superbike rounds.
Quayle described a campaign “full of highs and lows,” noting, “I’ve raced with some amazing people, made some great new friends and very sadly lost one.”
He detailed the immense effort involved, having crossed the Irish Sea nine times since May and driven “thousands of miles all over the UK in the race truck.”
Progress
Despite the challenges, Quayle highlighted consistent progress, saying: “Every single time I’ve been out I’ve gone faster than the time before.”
On the separation, he said: “Now my season has finished myself and Manx Legend Racing have decided to part ways…for now at least.”
Looking ahead to 2026, Quayle said he is “currently trying to work out the best direction for me to continue on the amazing racing journey.”
He extended thanks to the team’s founders, “Phil and Damien of Manx Legend Racing for putting the team together for me,” and praised his data guy, Milo Ward, for being “ever patient and all to often honest.”
He also thanked his parents for their unwavering support, saying they “help me every single day to live my dream”.
