FC Isle of Man has tonight announced that next week’s game against West Didsbury & Chorlton will not be played on the island.
The Ravens had been due to host the game at the Bowl on Saturday evening.
However, due to results in the league and a clash with the Manx FA Cup Final, it will now have to be played at a neutral venue.
As a result, tonight’s 2-3 loss at home to Litherland REMYCA is the side’s last home game of the 2024/25 season.
Club Statement
Following today’s results in the NWCFL, FC Isle of Man can confirm that our final league fixture against West Didsbury and Chorlton, originally scheduled to be played at The Bowl next weekend, will now be played away from home.
All fixtures next week are required to kick off at 15:00 as part of the league’s commitment to competitive fairness during the promotion race. Unfortunately, The Bowl is unavailable at that time due to the Isle of Man FA Cup Final taking place on the same day.
Under NWCFL regulations, the match cannot be played at West Didsbury and Chorlton’s home ground. We are currently working to secure an alternative neutral venue and are in active discussions to finalise the details. As soon as this is confirmed, we will share the information with supporters across our usual channels.
Supporters who have already purchased tickets for the scheduled home fixture will be issued a full refund. This process will be completed within the next 7 to 10 working days.
