FC Isle of Man has announced its annual Summer Festival of Football will return in July, with all matches moving to Ramsey’s Ballacloan Stadium.

The tournament, which runs from July 17 to July 19, features League Two side Shrewsbury Town, National League North’s Radcliffe, Northern Premier League champions Bury FC, and the home side.

Friday’s action sees Radcliffe face Shrewsbury at 3:30 pm, before FC Isle of Man host Bury at 7:30 pm. Sunday brings a third-place playoff at 11am, followed by the grand final at 3pm.

No matches are scheduled on Saturday, July 18, with visiting fans encouraged to explore the island.

Director of Football Lee Dixon said: “They’ve got a brilliant stadium, great pitch, so going down there, it’s an opportunity for us to put another tick on the list of what Paul spoke about when he originally set the club up and that it was about the Manx community.”

He added: “The Manx community is obviously not just Douglas, not just The Bowl, this is taking it out to another place like Ramsey and hopefully all the bars and restaurants and shops get to benefit from that and we’ll have a very busy Ramsey on July 17th and 19th.”

Travel packages are available via the Steam Packet, with tickets for local fans available on the club website.
