While the Senior TT was cancelled and the Manx weather proved challenging, 2025 TT was still a great fortnight.
As the King of the Mountain added to his immortal legacy we also saw two brothers fly the Manx flag high and racers hit new speeds.
We thought we’d use today as chance to look back at some of our favourite goings on from this year’s TT.
As The Crowes Fly
Ryan and Callum Crowe came, saw and conquered all before them this year as they made it two from two in the Sidecar races, in doing so making it four in a row across the last two years.
It was in the first race where they really shone, finishing 1m17s ahead of Ben Birchall/Patrick Rosney and in doing so beat Ben’s previous lap record, which he held with now retired brother Tom.
That new pace of 121.021mph saw the Crowes set themselves apart from the rest of the field and, importantly for the home crowd, ensured O Land of Our Birth got a double airing this week.
Even in their second win, the Crowes broke the 120mph barrier with a 120.168mph lap.
The Birchalls won 14 races as a partnership which included winning 13/14 races between 2015 and Tom’s retirement in 2023, only time will tell if the Crowes can do the same.
Dunlop
He is the GOAT, the King of the Mountain, a maverick, a genius and this year Michael Dunlop took his TT record to 33 wins and 51 podiums appearances.
In doing this he added to his own record and overtook John McGuinness for the record number of podiums.
Continuing his dominance in the Supersport races, two wins this week saw Dunlop make it eight in a row in that class.
However it was the Supertwins, in which he claimed his 33rd win, that Dunlop added more gloss to his year as he set a new lap record of 123.056 mph on the final lap.
130 Club
This year saw three riders crack the 130mph lap for the first time as Nathan Harrison, James Hind and Michael Evans all set blistering speeds.
Hind’s lap of 132.152mph made him the fourth fastest rider of TT2025 behind Dean Harrison, Michael Dunlop and Davey Todd.
While for Harrison and Evans, they really set down a marker for future years, Nathan in particularly will be gutted that the Senior wasn’t run after his impressive fourth place in Monday’s Superbike race.
It was also a good year for fellow Manxie Conor Cummins who took fifth in the Superstock.
Deano
As our headline said ‘The Bridesmaid No More’.
The TT is full of great characters and the way Dean Harrison’s Superstock double this week was greeted shows just how much love there is for the Laxey man.
He has so often been the third man in titanic battles between Dunlop and Peter Hickman, but this year saw Harrison deliver his first win since 2019 and (amazingly) Honda’s first win since 2015!
But despite that, Harrison has only ever talked of improving and proving himself and this year he did just that.
He also recorded a brilliant 135.692mph in his first win of the week to secure his fastest lap around the TT course.
The only shame is that we didn’t get to see the Senior which really would’ve been something special.
Movie Time
This week saw the news that Amazon MGM Studios will produce a major film and docuseries package centred on the TT.
The feature film will be produced by Hollywood stars Channing Tatum and Brad Pitt, with Tatum also set to star.
We can’t wait to see how this plays out and it will only help take the world’s greatest racing action to an even bigger audience.
Respect for Gary
The final highlight of the week for us has been the support shown for Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson. He had to make an almost impossible choice and cancel the Senior.
He tried to make it work, the marshals and everyone else tried, but when the racers said they weren’t happy with the conditions, he did what he had to do in the name of safety.
While this was 100% the right decision, what has been great is the support he received immediately online and it was even met with a ripple of applause at the Grandstand.
The job no-one would want t a time like that, Gary did himself and the entire race team proud.
