Boxer Mathew Rennie has won his first overseas bout, winning on points in Gibraltar.
The win over Romania’s Octavian Gratii takes his pro record to 15-1-1.
Picking up a unanimous points win, Rennie dominated the fight as he outboxed his Gratii.
Not only will the win surely help shake off any ring rust, but also settle any doubts that may have crept into his head after defeat in December.
Speaking after the bout, Rennie said it the fight was about “getting back to winning ways”.
He added: “This fight was all about putting that [the defeat] in the past and I’ve done that now and I’m ready to move on now hopefully for some title fights.
“They [his management] know what I want, title fights, and I’m in the right place to do it, Warren Boxing Management, speaks for itself doesn’t it and I know they’ll deliver for me.”
