Police are investigating after a man was allegedly seen crossing the closed roads during tonight’s MGP qualifying session.
The Constabulary said that officers had received reports of a male crossing the course at St Ninian’s traffic lights.
It added that it is “aware that footage of the incident is circulating”.
The Police said: “A local male is now assisting us with our enquiries at Police HQ.
“Entering a closed road is dangerous and illegal, it places lives at risk and today could have ended horrendously.
“We will continue to work with Marshals to prosecute individuals who enter closed roads, particularly where people are put at risk.”
