Drainage work at Richmond Hill will continue next week.
The road was closed for two evenings this week to allow Department of Infrastructure workers to clean roadside gullies using high-pressure water.
During the closure, teams have also taken the opportunity to cut back vegetation that had encroached onto the footpaths.
But work was delayed at the start of the week due to the storms.
It means further work is planned for the evenings of November 2 and 3.
A spokesperson said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank residents and road users for their patience while we complete these works.”
Road closures will take place between 6.30pm and 10.10pm, and signed diversions will be in place.
