The number of people working at the Cabinet Office rose by 30 in the last year, according to figures provided by minister David Ashford.
The full-time equivalent (FTE) count reached 387.2 in September 2025, up from 358.49 the previous year.
This follows a period of decline, with the workforce having previously fallen from 425.67 in 2022 to 384.55 in 2023.
Mr Ashford attributed past fluctuations to functions like Passport and Immigration ceasing to be part of the department, alongside growth in other areas.
In response to a written question from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Mr Moorhouse, the minister also addressed the number of self-employed workers.
He said: “I can however, advise that there are currently no people engaged on a self-employed basis providing a service to the Cabinet Office.”
