Manx actress Samantha Barks has publicly backed a petition which calls for a referendum on Earystane Windfarm.
The actress posted a link to the petition to her 212,000 followers on Instagram.
A petition has been set up by John Anslow’s which asks for the the voices of those directly impacted by the windfarm to be heard.

Manx Utilities plans on building ‘Cair Vie Windfarm Project’ in the south of the island.
MU’s plans have disgruntled many members of the southern community for the impact it’ll have on local wildlife.
