Huge congratulations to Northern AC’s Sarah Webster on another incredible feat of endurance running in Perth, Scotland.
She successfully defended the British women’s 100 kilometres road running tile that she won last year in Northern Ireland, with a time of 7:03:48.
Her victory margin, running for England, was 9 minutes and 35 seconds.
Sarah on top form
Sarah’s consistency is such that her time was within eight seconds of last year’s effort over a distance of 62 miles, an incredible display of well-paced running by a fantastic athlete.
Her split times indicate that she did slow somewhat in the final third of the race, but then picked up again on the last of the 42 laps.
Yet another amazing performance – many congratulations Sarah.
