Silly Moos which formerly operated at Ballakillingan Farm in Churchtown, has applied for planning permission for a new site in Andreas.
The company has applied to change the use of land at Andreas airfield to create a campsite with hard standings, motorhome and tent pitches, reception and temporary communal facilities.
The campsite will be in operation for the Isle of Man TT and for three weeks for the Manx Grand Prix annually.
New Campsite
The existing site is located within an agricultural field of approximately 9.51acres and was formerly part of RAF Andreas airfield.
Fiona and Brian Brumby say they hope their existing client base would enjoy the new site and are keen to get started on it.
Silly Moos Campsite says it “already have a strong client base from the previous site and are keen to get started on this
new project”.
