Sir Mark Cavendish has been confirmed in the Astana Qazaqstan team for Le Tour de France.
The race starts in Florence tomorrow (June 29).
Sir Mark will be targeting a record-breaking 35th stage win and his first opportunity is expected to come on stage three in Torino.
The 39-year-old is currently tied with Eddy Merckx on 34 stage wins but with eight stages expected to finish with a sprint there are plenty of opportunities.
