The first race of the Southern 100 has been red flagged after an incident at Ballawhetstone.
Three laps had been run of the Peel Holdings Senior Race when it was called.
The rider involved, who has not been named but was reported as being “up, conscious and talking” has been taken to hospital for assessment.
Organisers say that the race has been called in favour of Michael Dunlop who was leading at the point when the race was red flagged.
Jamie Coward picked up second and Davey Todd came third.
The lightweight race will go ahead as planned.
