Department of Infrastructure

Work is underway on the A5 Road at Santon.

A temporary 30mph speed limit and traffic lights are in place.

Work is taking place to reconstruct a 30 square metre section of the northbound lane alongside the back of Mount Murray Estate.

The DOI said the work is to repair a failed service trench and collapsed gully which has compromised safety and ride quality. It is anticipated that this work will take up to four days to complete .

Two way traffic will be maintained at all time through the use of temporary traffic lights.
